CA Baby Shower for Little Lady Lumsden

We feel so fortunate to have so many people who are so involved in our lives and wanted to be there to celebrate little Lumsden this past weekend at my baby shower (June 25th)!!  I had some of my relatives come from Nevada and Santa Barbara, and a close college friend drive also from Nevada!  Boy that makes me feel special!

Jason and I arrived late Thursday night and were welcomed at Jason's parents' house with an amazing surprise.  Jason's dad, Scott, had handcrafted a cradle especially for baby Lumsden!!!  This is definitely something that will be passed down through the generations.  What a special treasure!!!

We had a great turn out for the baby shower with a lot of close family and friends that were able to make it.

We played a few fun games, had a wonderful brunch, and opened a bunch of gifts.  I am always in awe of all of the handmade gifts people give (we got blankets, quilts, burp cloths and clothes...all handmade from different people).

And boy let me tell you...this little girl of ours is going to be one WELL DRESSED baby!!!  She got so many cute clothes, I think I might need to change her outfit a few times a day just to see her in all of it!

One of the most memorable parts of the day was at the end of the shower, after most people had left (except for some family), when my sister-in-law and brother announced they were expecting at the beginning of February.  But that wasn't all...then Jason's second cousin announced she was expecting at the beginning of February also!!!  What a special day!!!
