Rockin' Out to Katy Perry

Who says that a pregnant woman can't still have fun?  Well Jason sure tried to tell me I couldn't, but I didn't really want to listen.  At 35 weeks pregnant, we went with our friends, Nick and Lindsey, to the Katy Perry concert at Key Arena in downtown Seattle.  The boys were not as thrilled as Lindsey and I, but they played along and went (and actually enjoyed it!).

I will sadly admit that going to a concert pregnant is not quite the same experience as going when I am not pregnant.  I came back home with some pretty swollen feet, ankles and legs and had to force myself to sit down throughout the concert even though everyone else was still standing.  It's a brutal reality check, but it never stops me from having fun!

Katy Perry was an amazing performer!!  She had quite a few unique costumes throughout the concert and the stage was set up looking like something from Candyland, which was fun.  And boy were we surprised with how many crazy fans there were dressed in OUTRAGEOUS Katy inspired outfits as well!!  It was like a freak show!  None the less, we enjoyed the show and the good music.
