Our Little Zulily Model

Back in April I signed Cammy up online to be a model for Zulily.  For anyone who has never heard of Zulily before, it's basically a website with deals on items for moms, kids and the home.  And amazingly, the headquarters for Zulily is based right here out of Seattle (but really, what isn't based out of Seattle?)!  One of my Stroller Stride mom friends had her kids go in for some modeling, so I asked her about it and that's where I learned that I just had to sign up and if they need models in your kid's size then they email you about coming in for a photo shoot...easy as that!

So about a month later I got an email asking me if I could bring Cammy in the following day.  I was very excited about going, but also nervous because I know how Cammy is around strangers and cameras (two things that she would have to deal with at Zulily).

As great as the Zulily staff was with trying to find things that Cammy was interested in (favorite toys, music, bubbles...JUICE) she really just wasn't having this whole modeling thing.  I think after about 10 mins of hanging around her "stylist" and him giving her a sugary Capri Sun, she eventually was a little less shy with him, but she still wasn't really having the whole modeling thing and having to stand still for the camera.  In the end they got the picture they needed and I was fairly surprised to see that it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated it being.

Here is our little model! in her Zulily debut!

It was a good experience that I hope to one day be able to go back and do again, but maybe when she is older and learns to love the camera like her mommy did as a kid!
