8 Years and Counting!

On July 3rd, Jason and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary!  Hard to believe it's already been 8 years, but when I look back at things, we have done so much in those 8 years of marriage.  We moved into an apartment in Washington, moved out 6 months later, bought a condo, got a cat, got a dog, got another dog a year later (can you tell we were putting off kids for a bit there?), sold our condo and moved into a house, had a baby and are now pregnant with our second!!!  I would say that is a lot in 8 years!!

We usually aren't too lucky on our anniversary to be able to celebrate because we don't want to inconvenience our friends to watch Cammy while we go out.  But this year my parents happened to be visiting during our anniversary week, so WE GOT OUT ON A DATE!!!!

We had a VERY late dinner date at The Melting Pot in Bellevue.  Late as in I was already ready to be in my jammies relaxing at home by the time we were starting to eat dinner.  Late or not, we were just so excited to go to this place considering you don't usually see too many little kids here and dinner takes a good two hours to get thru, so there is no such thing as rushing this dinner date!  Of course as luck would have it I got a really bad stomach before dinner which then turned into me feeling quite sick most of the night.  So sadly, dinner wasn't as enjoyable as I had hoped but we both made the best of it since these nights out alone are few and far between!!

Celebrating 8 wonderful years!
