Seahawks WIN the Superbowl!!!!!

The day the Seahawks won the conference championship game against the 49ers, we noticed this entire state come together with tremendous Seahawk pride!!  Everywhere you would look you would see a 12th Man flag flying at someone's house or on their cars, green and blue clothes everywhere, and the Seahawks logo proudly displayed places.  It was crazy how united this state became over just one football game, but we were darn proud to be a part of it!

We are going to the Superbowl!!!!

If everyone was that excited about the conference winning game, we knew the day the Superbowl was here would be INSANE...and we were right!!!  Stores were sold out of almost anything Seahawks related and people were pumped for the game.  It was hard to not become a fan.  I mean this was the first time since 2006 that the Seahawks were in the Superbowl, so it was a REALLY big deal!  I of course had to get this whole family blue and greened out, so I made sure we all had something to wear the day of the big game.

We spent the Superbowl with our friends (and a bunch of people we didn't know) cheering on the Seahawks.  And despite the runaway game, it was still an amazing sight to see our team win and become Superbowl Champions for the very FIRST time!!!

As if the hype and craziness wasn't enough leading up to the Superbowl, we then had the Seahawks Victory Parade in downtown Seattle on Wednesday, Feb. 5th.  I really wanted to go as a family but realized the night before (when I watched the news and saw people already setting up camp on the streets to watch) that it probably wasn't the best idea with a toddler and a newborn.  I am definitely proud to call Seattle my home as I watched 700,000 people come out for the victory parade and support the Seahawks on their big win!!!

In the words of Cammy...
"GO HAWKIES!"
