A Day on the Dreamliner

The 787 Dreamliner (for all of you that aren't up with the times, this is the plane that Jason works on with the seats) came to the Museum of Flight in Seattle.  It was one of the first times it was open for people to walk through and check out.  So of course it was something that we HAD to go do and lucky for my parents, they just happened to be here with us at the right time!

We waited about an hour in line before we could go on the plane, but that gave us time to check out the exterior of the plane and soak up a little sunshine.  Cammy had high hopes that she would be able to sit in the seats and go for a ride once on the plane (clearly this kid goes on too many airplane rides), but no luck...just a walk through and look tour (not exactly a favorite for a toddler). Definitely neat to have someone who knows all about the airplane give us a little informational tour (thanks Jason!).

The Dreamliner is a pretty impressive airplane and someday we hope to be able to fly somewhere on it!  Until then, we will admire it from afar OR every time we drive past Boeing!

A personally guided tour by one who knows it best...lucky girl!

Waving from the top!

The wheel is bigger than her!
