Daddy Daughter Dance

February 20th was a big night in our house.  This was a night that Cammy has looked forward to since last year when she got to go to her very first daddy daughter dance with Jason.  This year Hailey was old enough to go also, so Jason was able to take both Cammy and Hailey for this very special date night.

The girls and I shopped for their Easter/Daddy Daughter Dance dresses and found the perfect "twirling" dresses.  A dress that twirls really good makes the dress extra special to both girls.

After the girls got all dressed up, had me put a little of my make-up on them, and picked one of my fancy pearl necklaces to wear they came downstairs where Jason gave them each a corsage.  Cammy loved wearing it and Hailey liked it for a second and then wanted it off.

Ready to go to dinner

The night started with dinner at "a fancy restaurant" (aka: NOT Red Robin or La Palmera).  Cammy claims this is a place that Jason takes me on dates, so that makes it fancy.  After dinner they headed over to the dance where they split their time between crafts, dancing, pictures, and dessert eating. According to Jason the girls had totally different interests making it a bit challenging this year. Cammy wanted to spend most of her time doing crafts and Hailey wanted to dance and eat dessert. That sounds about right for each of them.  A few princesses made their appearances at the dance also...including Elsa who happens to be someone we know.

Overall it was a fun night for Jason and the girls.  And the countdown is on until the year when he can take all 3 girls and I have a few hours in the evening to myself!
