Pumpkin Pickin' 2016

Since living here in WA, October of this year felt like the most rainy Halloween season we have ever had! Usually during the month of October I find myself with the kids frequenting pumpkin patches to enjoy all the fall fun, but this year we only made it once! There was probably only one good sunny weekend right at the beginning of the month and the rest were pretty darn rainy. So finally by Oct. 22nd we decided if we didn't make it to get pumpkins we never would. And although it wasn't raining, it was definitely muddy and wet and there were so many people at The Farm that it just wasn't even fun to do all the activities they had to offer.

Low and behold we got the job done and picked our pumpkins, took a tractor hay ride, rode the cow train, raced some rubber duckies and did a hay maze...all while having fun with friends. Hopefully next year will be a lot less rainy!
