Summer Bucket List Part #1

This is our 2nd summer we came up with a Summer Bucket List for things that we wanted to do during the summer break that maybe we wouldn't ordinarily do. This is the first half of our Bucket List for the summer (15 out of 28 items)..

Our Summer Bucket List

#1: June 16th we started our Summer Bucket List a few days early and did our berry picking during the strawberry festival on Father's Day weekend.

#2: June 20th we went to the Edmonds City Park splash pad with friends to kick off our summer break

#3: June 21st we went to the zoo with Grams and made it extra special by feeding the giraffes

#4: July 5th we had an afternoon picnic in the park with some friends at Miner's Corner Park

#5: July 8th we went to a Mariners game with some of our friends and to make it extra special we rode the light rail from the UW Stadium to Safeco Field

#6 and #7: July 10th we went to a summer kids concert at Juanita Beach in Kirkland with some old friends and played at the park afterwards

#8: July 13th we went to open swim at the McCollum Pool and met up with an old friend there

#9: July 14th we did a family backyard campout (and everyone stayed in the tent the entire night!)

#10: July 15th we went to Emerald Downs for Boeing Day on a really hot summer day

#11: July 17th we did Find Waldo in the Mill Creek Town Center with a few of our friends

#12: July 25th we went to the Green Lake wading pool with some friends who are moving to Texas in a few weeks

#13: July 26th we went to Jetty Island for our very first time. It was a very low tide, so it was hard to get out to the water, but the kids still had a blast

#14: July 28th we had dessert for dinner at Red Robin (boy did my tummy hurt after that!)

#15: July 29th we went to Fox Hollow Farms for a fun family day during their summer festival (another place we had never been before)

I learned about half way through the summer that I planned way too many things, but I am on a mission to accomplish them all (even if some have to happen after school starts up)!! It's been an amazing summer so far to say the least and we have only done 14 of the 28 items on our list so far!!
