Love my mommy!!!!
Love my mother-in-law!!!
I love Mother's Day though! It's the one day a year where I feel like I can't feel bad for not cleaning, helping with kid stuff or just getting away by myself for an hour or so. I have a great husband because he lets me do whatever I want on Mother's Day with no complaining from him.
This year I felt like I got the royal treatment! He made a yummy breakfast while watching Cammy (never an easy task). Then he took me for an early afternoon in Seattle. We got to ride The Great Wheel, which I have been asking to do since it was built. All I usually heard out of Jason was how pricey it was and it wouldn't be worth it. We picked a good time to go because there was no line (until after we went on it of course) and it actually wasn't raining like we thought it would. And the BEST part was that after the ride, Jason actually told me that it was fun and he was glad we went!!!!! Music to my ears!!

After the Great Wheel we had to take a ride on the carousel and then we went to lunch at a nearby fish and chips place called Fisherman's. Good, simple food and fun to sit at a window where we could watch the wheel (and apparently be spotted by someone I know who was riding in the wheel while we were eating lunch oddly enough).
Can't walk past a carousel without taking a ride!

Snuggles with my "partner in crime" and the reason I get to celebrate Mother's Day!
The afternoon was topped off with an ice cream treat and then it was back home for naptime (always sad when you just want to stay out longer, but know that a missed or late naptime will be detrimental to how the rest of your day goes).
I love being a mom!
It's the hardest, yet most rewarding job that you will ever have!!
And as one of my favorite bloggers (The Honest Toddler) once said...
without your toddler you'd be nothing so split the gifts 50/50!
