Father's Day 2014

Father's Day is an extra special day each year, but this year was even more special because I got to not only spend it with Jason and our little family but I also got to spend it with MY DAD (and mom too)!!! I don't remember the last Father's Day where I was able to be with my dad.

There are so many wonderful things about dads that truly a mom could never live up to!  Jason is one exceptional dad to our two beautiful girls and one day doesn't seem like enough to celebrate all that is wonderful about him!  Naming just a few...

He works hard to support our family so I can stay home with the kids all day
As soon as he walks in the door he goes right into "daddy mode" and doesn't even get a break
He is an amazing cook (thank goodness, otherwise we would be eating tacos every night!)
He is just overall fun, caring, silly, and supportive
He makes everything he does with the kids so much FUN

We made a fun day of celebrating starting with lunch at Fred's in Snohomish.  Afterwards we walked in the rain for a cupcake treat (Cammy's request of course) and then Jason took Cammy down to the river IN THE RAIN (because he's just that great of a dad).

Everyone seems to like their cupcakes!

Since I am not much of a beer drinker and Jason and my dad wanted to go beer tasting, I decided to stay back with the girls while they napped and I let the boys and my mom go beer tasting at the Mac and Jack Brewery.

It was a fun day had by all and we look forward to many more Father's Days where we can celebrate the important dads in our lives...Jason, Keith and Scott!!!
