Exploring Local Areas

One thing we regretted when we moved out of CA was that there were so many places we had never been to and wished we would have seen them before we moved.  So now that we are approaching on almost 10 years here in WA (crazy I know!) AND have kids that help us get out, we are finding ways to explore even some of the simplest of areas around us.

Our winter was so mild this year that we had lots of opportunities to get out on a sunny day and enjoy the very rare non-rainy day.  So on January 25th we set off with the kids, scooter, stroller AND the dogs for a walk along part of the Centennial Trail (something we had not really explored as a family yet).  Cammy has quickly become a master on the scooter so it's fun to get her out for some flat trail practice.  And Hailey of course did not want to be the only one having to sit in a stroller, so she insisted on walking holding my hand while I, of course, got to push an EMPTY stroller!  Go figure!!

It's a beautiful life!
