Jason's 34th Birthday

As we get older we have come to find that celebrating birthdays is not the same as it used to be. Typically we find ourselves doing something fun that the kids would love just to keep them entertained. We're parents now, our birthdays are mostly about the kids like any other day. But this birthday was a little better than the usual "parental birthday."

We started off Jason's birthday on January 7th with a family breakfast at one of our favorite local breakfast spots, The Sawmill Cafe. Afterwards we came home to open some presents. Jason and I then managed to get away (thanks to his friend Anika for staying with all 3 girls!) for a little movie date in the afternoon. And once home from the movies a bunch of Jason's friends came over for a Seahawks playoff game party (this was a very last minute decision by Jason, so I had a lot to throw together in only a couple of hours between activities). It was a wild football party with lots of kiddos and adults, but so much more fun than what we usually find ourselves doing on our birthdays these days!

Breakfast with his favorite girls!

You know you're a dad of daughters when your presents are wrapped in princess bags!

3-D movie date!

Happy 34th Birthday Jason!
Here's to another great year growing old together!
