Valentine's Day 2016

Valentine's Day was a bit busier than usual this year now that we have a kindergartener!

Our day started with the girls waking up to some fun little presents waiting for them on the table downstairs. Then Grams and Gramps brought over Frost donuts for breakfast, which topped our morning. Who needs anything healthy to eat on Valentine's Day anyway?

When it was time for Cammy to go to school I left the littles with Grams and Gramps and spent a good half of the day with Cammy at school. I first did my regular reading volunteer job that I do every other week and then I got to be a part of her classroom Valentine's Day party. I love being able to be such a huge part of her fun activities in kindergarten! I am very blessed to have such an amazing support system who makes time to help me when I have these chances to be involved in Cammy's class.

After school Cammy enjoyed going through her Valentine's cards and eating more candy. Really, I'm not even sure why I tried making dinner. We should have just ate candy all night long! But alas, it was Taco Tuesday and you can't ever skip eating tacos on a Tuesday in the Lumsden household!!!

Morning surprise waiting for them!
