Last Day of Kindergarten!!!

June 22nd was the last day of Kindergarten for Cammy. It seemed like not too long ago the year had just started, I was a nervous wreck sending Cammy off to school all day and we were all adjusting to our new "normal." Hard to believe that the school year is already over and we now have a FIRST GRADER!!!

Cammy had the most amazing year in Kindergarten! She lucked out getting one of the most loving, sweet, knowledgeable and encouraging teachers for her first year in school. The bar is set high for what we expect and want in a first grade teacher!

Cammy made tons of new friends this year and her teacher even told us numerous times that she was very well liked by the entire class, always being a great friend to everyone. She learned to be independent, she became a great reader (and discovered an even deeper love for books than she had before), she mastered the monkey bars (and even got her first blisters from doing them too much), and she really worked hard to be the best student and example she could be in her classroom. We are so pleased with how she ended the year and we are so excited to see how she grows in first grade!

To celebrate the last day of school, Jason took the morning off to join us for a Frost donut breakfast in the Mill Creek Town Center and then came with us for a whole family drop off at school. It was a special morning...similar to how it was on the very first day of school.
