Open Swim- Bucket List #7

If my girls could live in the pool I think they might do exactly that. These kids love the water and ask to go swimming often. We decided to take advantage of the warm summer weather and go to an Open Swim at the local outdoor pool where the girls do swim lessons at in the summer.

I decided to take it upon myself to take the girls before Jason could meet us from work and that was quite a challenge. Thankfully the part the girls could go in was shallow enough for Cammy and Hailey to mostly touch the bottom, but between all of the kids in the water, kids on floaty rafts, basketballs flying around, all 3 girls wanting to do different things (Cammy showing off her skills, Hailey wanting a floaty raft and Brielle wanting to only jump in from the edge) and having to basically have Brielle attached to my hip in the water I was EXHAUSTED!!! It made me hopeful for the day when all 3 of our kids can swim on their own and us parents can just sit poolside and watch or play. Until then, we will continue to have chaotically crazy fun in the water. Let me tell you though, once Jason arrived...he was on little kid duty while I finally got to watch Cammy practice her skills.

And what would you know, I only managed to snap one picture of Jason with the girls, even though I was super mom and did most of the hard work!!
