Father's Day 2018

Father's Day was special this year because it was spent with each of our dads, which is very rare these days!

We began our day having breakfast with my dad and mom at Saw Mill Cafe in Mill Creek. We brought over Jason's Father's Day presents so he could open them and we did that while we waited for our table. Apparently everyone goes to breakfast on Father's Day....no matter how early you think you are showing up!!

Just me and my amazing dad!

After breakfast we headed over to the WA State Brewers Festival at Marymoor Park in Redmond. This was our third year in a row (I think) we spent Father's Day doing this with friends. And this year Jason's dad and mom joined us for part of it. It was an extremely warm day for this time of the year in WA, so the kids got a bit hot and cranky. But we pushed through and almost stayed the entire time. Jason and his friends always seem to enjoy this and that is what is most important.

The dads...Gavin, Brady and Jason

These two are apparently the Super Dads!

(Cammy, Bailey, Hailey, Zach and Brielle)

We ended this hot day with ice cream for dinner at Coldstone. It was a nice treat for all of us after hours in the sun!!

The girls are so very lucky to have such a fun, silly, patient, hardworking, loving dad that makes a point to most always be present at everything he can that the girls do. He puts up with a lot of girl drama, crying, whining and bickering, but he always remains so positive and helps keep this crazy family of girls balanced (Lord knows we need that balance in this house!).

Happy Father's Day Jason!!!
