Our First Adventure Run

So apparently during the drier months (May-September) our local community does this really fun activity called the Adventure Run.  It's basically a scavenger hunt around the Town Center to get raffle tickets for a drawing at the end.  Some stations you run to might involve an activity to earn raffle tickets, such as a beanbag toss or rock/paper/scissors and other stations you just have to locate where the place is to get a raffle ticket.  You have one hour to run around to as many places as you can that are listed on the map.

It definitely involved a little more running that I anticipated, but it was so fun to be a part of this with Jason, Cammy, some Stroller Strides moms and babies and our good friends Nick and Lindsey.

I would say the first time we did this was a huge success because Jason ended up winning the biggest prize raffled off...a new pair of shoes!!!!

This was a great way to spend some quality time as a family on a weeknight and just get out to enjoy our amazing community!
