Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

After almost 6 years since we last went, we finally made it back to the Tulip Festival!!  We had tried to go earlier in April when my parents were here, but due to the late Spring weather, the blooming of the tulips was delayed this year.  I still wanted to go back to see them with Cammy, so since Jason's mom was up here visiting for a week we decided to take her...and boy was I happy we went because the tulips were amazing!!

Because of the crazy weather we had recently, the different colored tulips were all in different stages of blooming.  Some had already bloomed and been cut, some still hadn't opened, some had their petals close to falling off, but most were in full bloom and so beautiful!

We lucked out on the day we went as well and got a nice little break between rainy days!  Despite the wind and cooler temps, we were so glad we could take Glenda and Cammy!!
