Easter 2014

As if having one kid to celebrate the holidays with is not fun enough, try having TWO.  It's double the fun and double the excitement (well maybe Hailey doesn't show her excitement quite yet, but I know she will eventually).  And try having TWO GIRLS to dress up in adorable little dresses.  Yup...now that's pretty much the best (although Jason may not agree that paying $40 a dress just to wear for a few pictures is fun).

My parents left the day before Easter so they could be back in CA with my brother and his little family.  So we were on our own this Easter, with the exception of our friends.  We spent the morning watching the girls go through their Easter baskets, going to church, having a little photo shoot in our Easter clothes, and then we spent the rest of the afternoon prepping Easter dinner.  We had a total of 12 adults and 3 little babies/kids at our house for dinner. It was a busy afternoon/evening, but so worth it to just be surrounded by our "family away from home" (aka: our friends).

Since we didn't make it to the Mill Creek Easter Egg Hunt this year due to crummy weather, we made sure to do a fun one in our backyard.  Cammy really enjoyed hunting for eggs, but even enjoyed more opening them as she found them and trying to eat what was in each.  We had to stop that or the hunt would have gone into the wee hours of the night :)

She found an egg!!!

It sure is fun to spend these holidays thru the eyes of a kid!!!  There really isn't anything better!
