Saying Goodbye

Sometimes change can be hard, but I always like to remember that when one page closes in your life, another page opens and a new chapter is ready to begin.  And this is how it went for the selling of my childhood home in Rescue, CA that we lived in for 28 great years.

I will always remember the great memories that were made in the Rescue house...trampoline, swimming pool, Easter Egg hunts, walks down to the creek behind our house to look for tadpoles, the playhouse that eventually became a chicken coop, the family pets that are buried in the backyard, the many family gatherings that happened there, all the hard work my dad put in with beautifying the front and back yard, the place where my dad's business began and countless other memories that would take days to write about.

It's a great feeling knowing that a family with little kids moved in there and they now get to enjoy the things that we did when we were kids.  It will forever be the house I remember the most growing up and will forever hold those amazing memories.

Here's to bigger and greater things...
like having my parents live in WA for a majority of the year!!
