Dad's are the BEST!

June 21st was Father's Day.  Our initial plan for the day was to take Jason berry picking with us since that was the weekend for the Biringer Farms Strawberry Festival.  There was talk that there wouldn't even be strawberries left to pick at the festival since the season happened so early (hence why we went the weekend before with Jason's parents while he was out of town), but we decided to go anyway and use this as a raspberry picking trip instead.

We took the trolley out to the strawberry fields mostly because the girls wanted to go for a ride. And we ended up picking just enough strawberries to eat while out there.

Hailey was a pro at raspberry picking and managed to eat just about every single one that she helped to pick.  Notice below her expression of excitement at the raspberries while we are trying to take a picture OR she is yelling at her big sister to not eat the raspberries...who knows.

I attempted a selfie of all of us, but pretty much failed, 

so we found someone nice to take our family picture

Cammy enjoyed a pony ride (which she has been talking about since the previous year's Strawberry Festival) and a few other big kid activities.

And Jason enjoyed a yummy free strawberry sundae...just for DADS!  Well deserved for all his hard work being an awesome dad!!

Thank you Jason for being an AMAZING dad to our two beautiful little girls.  They may not know how great they have it yet (but I think they might have a good idea), but one day they will realize!! You are the rock that keeps this family together!
