And that evening we took the family to see extravagant Christmas lights at the Woodinville Wonderland and Keeners Christmas. It was a rainy night to be outside, but we still enjoyed ourselves under our umbrellas all bundled up. A true Northwestern Christmas!

Christmas Eve was a busy day...Jason was frantically trying to finish Christmas shopping with all the other men while we took time to bake sugar cookies and decorate them. Once we were all together again, we went to a Christmas Eve church service and then to dinner with all the Florida family at the very yummy Crab Pot. We learned a very valuable lesson as parents that night at dinner...NEVER take a 15 month old who can't sit still to a place that takes longer than an hour to be in and out of. We spent most of our dinner looking embarrassed by our child who was crying from being forced to stay seated or bribing her to be quiet with a big bowl of rainbow sherbet ice cream. Why don't people warn us about this stuff before we have to learn it on our own?!
