The BIG 3-0!

On January 7, 2013 Jason turned the big 3-0!!  I told him now that he is in his thirties he is officially a grown-up.  No more excuses...he is on his way to being an old man :)

We had a low key celebration for his birthday this year because at some point between both of our birthdays we will be doing a joint 30th birthday trip as a family.  So the night before his birthday we had his friends over for dinner and cupcakes and then on his actual birthday just Jason and I went out to dinner together (thanks Nick and Lindsey for watching Cammy so we could actually have some kid free, adult conversation at dinner!).

Dinner (kid free) at Tablas to celebrate Jason's 30th

It's sort of crazy to think that Jason is already 30...where did the time go?  I am so lucky to have been able to spend almost half of his lifetime with him (weird to think I know!).  I figured for his 30th I should do what I have done for other birthdays and come up with 30 things that are great about Jason, so here it goes...

1. He is an AMAZING husband

2. He is the BEST father I could ask for for our daughter!

3. He is a tremendously hard worker

4. He is a very loyal and caring friend  

5. He is smart (that's probably an understatement if you have ever met him)

6. He is very encouraging

7. He is funny

8. He loves to tell stories and is pretty darn good at it (sometimes they can be a little long though)

9. He is very family oriented

10. He is adventurous

11. He is motivated

12. He is a man of God

13. He is a Justin Timberlake look alike (do you see it cause I sure can't, but too many people have told him that before!?)

14. He's patient

15. He's a family man

16. He's great with computers

17. He's an amazing money manager (just what I needed because I am definitely not!)

18. He's very forgiving
19. He's a great public speaker (even if he thinks he's not)

20. He is an over achiever (which I find to be a great quality)

21. He doesn't hold grudges

22. When he wants to learn something, he goes out there and does it (flying, photography, etc)

23. He is supportive

24. He's good at making things up and making you believe it if you're the gullible type like me

25.  He looks great with a beard ;)

26. He's a great cook (thank goodness since I am not that creative in the kitchen)

27. He's a great sport when it comes to doing things that I want to do (like seeing girlish movies)

28. He is an amazing provider for our family

29. He almost puts himself last with everything he does

30. The most rad 30 year old I know!!!
