Date Night...a Rare Occasion!!

Thank goodness for family who comes and visits us and allows for us to get out at least once on a special date night.  And the better part of the deal was that since my in laws were watching Cammy for us, we actually got to go out on a DOUBLE DATE with the friends that are our usual babysitters, Lindsey and Nick.

Since date nights are few and far between these days, we went all out this time and had a very special date planned.  We went to dinner in downtown Kirkland at Cactus and then spent the remainder of our evening taking a painting class (accompanied with wine and appetizers) at a place called Palettes and Pairings.  We had a great time getting away for a few hours, hanging out with good friends and coming home with two decent masterpieces that we now need to find somewhere to hang them.
