The Lumsden's Fairgrounds Presents...

For Cammy's second birthday, we wanted her to enjoy a celebration with friends as well as fun with family. So this year we threw a carnival themed birthday party at our house with about 20 of her little friends and about 30 adults.  Thank goodness we got a beautiful weekend of weather because the party sure wouldn't have been the same done in the house!!  For those of you who don't live here in the PNW, I should note I said this because literally every other Saturday in the month of August this year has been rainy, so we were slightly nervous we would continue the streak on her party weekend.

Thanks to Pinterest and a lot of crafting done by me, we created a fun little carnival party with 5 games where the kids would collect prizes from each and fill up their own goodie bag.  We had carnival style food accompanied with a real popcorn machine (one of my favorite details of the party).  From the looks of it, it was a good time had by all!

I know Cammy sure enjoys being surrounded by her close friends and family (as do we), so that even made the day a little more special...and having cupcakes of course just topped it right off!!
