Snow Day Art Fun

One of the employees at Cammy's school owns her own woodworking workshop called the AR Workshop. If you haven't been to one of these then you are missing out! You get to create your own wood plank all by using a pre-made stencil and paint. They help you with everything!

I have done a few of these workshop with my friends and every time I come home with my project Cammy always tells me that she wants to go do one of these someday.

Thanks to a smart store owner who knows she has a huge client base from working at an elementary school, she came up with some snow day workshops to keep the kids busy on the cancelled school days during the big snow storm.

So I took advantage of this opportunity and signed the girls up to go make their own plank on Feb. 13th. It was the perfect snow day activity!! They picked their design online and when we showed up they had it all set up for them to get started on. Easy peasy!

I brought my mom along for some additional hands to help me with the 3 girls. Brielle of course needed lots of assistance, Hailey did pretty well on her own and Cammy was fine all on her own. They loved every minute of the workshop and Cammy is already asking when she can go back and do this again (while also planning her next birthday at this place).
