Mariners Game- Bucket List #16

Every summer we try and fit in at least one Mariners baseball game. This year we went to a game on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3rd. We prepared for some hot temps, but it ended up being perfect in our shady seat location. Jason's parents came with us this year since they were back in town from their Alaska trip early. This checked off one of Cammy's last two "Bucket List" items...and just in time before the end of summer break!

The day we went to the game was a special kids day. They were giving out cool Mariners backpacks to all the kids, there were lots of kids participating in different job areas throughout the game (like announcer, cameraman, etc.), and at the end of the game all the kids were able to come out to the field and run the bases. The girls were excited to do this and Hailey was a super big sister and ran holding onto Brielle's hand the entire way even after Cammy ditched both of them and took off running (oh to be the oldest).

It was a fun day, even if the girls weren't too into the game this year. It was probably one of the most exciting games I have ever been to. Lots of foul balls hit in our direction and lots of scoring for the Mariners keeping the game moving. And a nice victory for the Mariners was a great ending to the game!! A baseball game is always a nice way to end summer break and get ready to head back to school.
