Brielle Turns 2!!!

Somehow our baby has managed to become a toddler and turned 2 on Dec. 6th! It's kind of bittersweet watching our last "baby" grow up. It's like we want to hold onto her as a baby as long as possible, but then we also are so excited to be moving away from that baby phase as well. Hence the bittersweet part of this stage of life.

Brielle is quite the unpredictable 2 year old. She can be the happiest girl one minute and then go into full tantrum mode the next minute. She definitely keeps us on our toes. She loves to get us to laugh at things she does. She gives the best hugs! She loves Frozen and the movie Horse Dancer. She is obsessed with "neighs" (aka: ponies). She is obsessed with anything her big sisters are doing and usually wants to be right there doing it with them. We basically bypassed all baby toys and she plays with things that are for 4-6 year olds. She loves gymnastics and does it with mommy every Thursday morning. She is definitely at the "independent and I do it" stage, which slows down life a little bit. She is smaller than any of her big sisters were at this age and still fits in some 18 month clothes (this is absolutely foreign to me seeing that Hailey was in 2T clothes by this age). There is never a dull moment with this little cutie.

For her actual birthday daddy went into work a little late, so I ran out and got donuts and we let her open one of her presents. Then I took Hailey and Brielle to PlayHappy Cafe for a little playtime in the morning after taking Cammy to school. When Jason got home from work we headed down to Bellevue for an early dinner at Red Robin and Snowflake Lane (a fun little Christmas parade/performance that happens nightly every day in December until Christmas).We enjoyed the evening with our friends the Mitchells and both sets of grandparents.
