New Years Eve 2017

We had a fun filled New Years Eve day and night this year! We started our morning off trying a new donut shop nearby. The girls loved that the donuts were shaped like dogs and cats and had fun little character rings on them (of course the price is jacked up just because of the lame little ring that my kids won't want a few days later, but they had to have it!).

After a yummy donut breakfast we headed over to the new Mill Creek Arena Sports and did a little bounce house jumping. We actually bounced a bit before naptime and then came back again after naptime and bounced some more. We know how to utilize our jumping in one day! We have enjoyed watching this place get built because it seems like we would randomly run into them setting something new up and needing people to try it for free. This time it was the mini bowling that was just getting finished up and we got to test it out for free because we happened to be in the right place at the right time. The girls really enjoyed that.

For the evening we decided to have a little party with the girls. Jason's old coworker/friend, Anika, joined us for the evening as well. We made jello shots (virgin for the kids of course and adult ones for us parents), ordered pizza, and had lots of candy and chips. We let the girls stay up as late as they could make it this year. Brielle made it until about 9ish. And shockingly Hailey and Cammy made it (barely) until midnight! We watched the ball drop, watched a bit of the fireworks show at the Space Needle on tv, did our "pop its" on the porch, made some noise, set off some party poppers and then off to bed the girls went...oh so tired!!!

Happy New Year from us party animals!

Jello shot cheers!

It's almost midnight...stay awake!!!

Keela was not a fan of all the fireworks and pop its!

I think it's time for bed for all of us!!

Happy 2018!!
