Jason's 35th Birthday

You know...35 seems like a big year in the birthday world (and really I kind of think it is), but when you're a parent it just becomes a birthday where you try and find something that your kids will enjoy and you can enjoy doing with them. So for Jason's 35th birthday on Jan. 7th we decided to go to lunch and bowling as a family. We had a good time, but of course it's always a bit challenging finding something to occupy Brielle while we all bowl.

In the evening our friends Brady and Abbey invited us over for a little birthday dinner celebration with our friends Matt and Meghan as well. As much as a dinner out sounded nice, sometimes it's just easier to eat at home and let the kids all run around crazy with each other. Once again...birthdays as a parent at it's finest.

It was a great day mixed with family time and friend time all to celebrate one of the most patient, fun, loving, caring, adventurous, outgoing, and frankly just one of the best guys I know who I am proud to call my husband! Happy 35th Jason!! Here's to 5 more years in your thirties and then it's a whole new ballgame!!!
