Happy Thanksgiving 2011
Thanksgiving is always a special time of the year! It's a time to reflect on all of the things we are thankful for. Here is a list of all of the things I am most thankful for this year...
1. I am thankful for my loving, supportive, hard working, and devoted husband Jason
2. I am thankful for my sweet little daughter Cambrynn
3. I am thankful for the new little family we have become
4. I am thankful for our two amazingly supportive and loving families
5. I am thankful that I am able to stay at home with Cammy every day
6. I am thankful for the house that we recently moved into
7. I am thankful for my great friends that I have here in WA (my family away from home)
8. I am thankful for kitty Rascal and my two doggies Coda and Keela
9. I am thankful for all of the life experiences that have molded me into the person I am today
10. I am thankful for having food to eat, clothes to wear, and a car to get me to where I need to go
This year was a special one because Jason's parents came up to spend 10 days with us (even though we all know they really came to spend those 10 days with their one and only granddaughter). We enjoyed a wonderful spread of food prepared by his parents (I know, I know...why are they the ones cooking while we are the ones that are hosting) and having time to just celebrate all that we are thankful for!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with family and friends!!!
Cambrynn Meets Santa!
We decided that we needed to start the holiday traditions early this year, so we took Cammy to see Santa at the mall before Thanksgiving. We had heard of people waiting for hours to see Santa and we just didn't have the patience for that with a baby. We lucked out and only waited about 10 mins. Note to self: Always go see Santa BEFORE Thanksgiving to beat the rush!
We couldn't get our little darling to smile, but I guess we are lucky that she is cute no matter what she is doing (I think we might be a little biased since we are her parents).

Had to get a family photo as well :)
Here's to making memories for Cambrynn's first Christmas!
SNOW...in November!
I guess it has become a tradition...Jason's parents come here for Thanksgiving and it snows. This has happened all 3 times they have come here, some years worse than others. This year was no different, we got a little bit of snow the day after they arrived. It didn't build up to much of anything, but it was cold enough to let it stick around in the shady spots for a day or two afterwards. And how fun for us...it was Cammy's first snow as well!! So we bundled her up in her coat over her jammies and headed out for a family photo :)
