Farmer Brown's Tree Farm

One of my all time favorite Christmas memories growing up was going out to a tree farm and picking the perfect tree to cut down.  I love being able to keep this tradition alive for my two girls and watching them as they grow up and enjoy the experience a little more each year.

Now don't get me wrong...it's not always the most fun when it's cold and taking us longer than usual to find our tree and kids are whining that they are ready to leave 5-10 mins into it, but this year was PERFECT!!!  We went on Dec. 7th.  My parents came with us and brought their truck for us to haul the tree in,  my dad helped with the manual labor, my mom did the kid wrangling, it was a fairly warm day (mid 50s) in comparison to previous years, Cammy was more into walking around with us and Hailey just enjoyed being in a new environment.  And of course the trip would not be complete without one of our favorite families coming along with us...Nick, Lindsey and Penelope! There you have it...a PERFECT DAY!

I love this little family of mine!!!

Cammy always loves the little trees just her size

She wanted to crawl so that's what we let her do!

I sort of love how my kid planks while watching her dad cut down the tree!

I think we came home with a nice little beauty as well!!
