Last Day of First Grade

We now officially have a SECOND GRADER in our house! That seems kind of bonkers to me, but man it's no joke when people say "time flies!"

Cammy kicked off her last day of first grade on June 19th. We began the day with our annual tradition of Frost donuts before school (along with a ton of other people who have the same last day of school idea). And after a short few hours of school we ended the day with a little "after school/kick off summer vacation party" in one of our friend's neighborhoods across the street from the school. I left the other two girls at home with the grandparents so I could get the chance to talk to friends and let Cammy just have a fun celebration. They had lots of snacks, popsicles, adult beverages that were oh so yummy (peach sangrias) and a lot of squirt guns and a slip n slide. We lucked out with a hot day, so that water play was perfect!!!
