NYE Shenanigans

We switched things up this New Years Eve and decided to do a little daytime fun with an early countdown for the kids. So we took the girls rollerskating at the Everett Skate Deck and Cammy brought along 2 of her school friends. The girls had a great time skating and at the end of the session they did a countdown and balloon drop with special prizes in some of the balloons. This was a really fun way for the kids to ring in the new year and something we would probably do again!!

Happy New Year!

After skating we came home and put on our jammies and celebrated the East Coast NYE at 9pm. This was the first time we tried this and it totally worked (for the ones who can't tell time that is)! We got Hailey and Brielle off to bed (with a little struggle and the help of Cammy faking like she was going to sleep as well) and then let Cammy hang out with us until midnight. We enjoyed playing some older kid games and were finally able to take the time to teach Cammy the game of Clue.
