Hailey's Pre-K Fieldtrip

Fieldtrips in preschool are quite different than when they are in grade school. In preschool the kids just show up for a "parent led" fieldtrip along with all of the other kids that go to preschool on the same days of the week. No teachers are there, just the parents and the director of the preschool to help get everyone together in the beginning.

As we have done in previous years, we went to Thomas Family Farm on Oct. 18th. Thankfully my mom was able to join me so I had an extra set of hands between Hailey and Brielle.

We started our morning with a tractor hay ride out to the pumpkin patch, we picked our pumpkins and then rode back to the farm. We got a yummy treat of apple cider donuts thanks to my mom and then headed out to play. The girls enjoyed the giant slide, the pedal cars and once Brielle discovered the sand hill it was all over! The girl just wanted to sit there and build sand castles for the rest of the day (of course managing to get sand everywhere!). Needless to say we all had a fun time and Hailey really enjoyed running into a few school friends who she could run around and play with as well.
