Pumpkin Patchin'

Man we sure have lucked out this fall with some incredibly gorgeous weather! It felt like every weekend in October we got sunny weather and the rain just wasn't there like it usually is. We took advantage of the nice weather and hit the pumpkin patch on Oct. 12th. We thought that was a genius idea to avoid a weekend, so we took Cammy out half day. We were very wrong! Apparently we missed the memo that some Seattle schools had a day off so to the farm everyone went on a day that we thought we would have it to ourselves.

We went to our usual farm, The Farm at Swan's Trail. This year was a special one because we got to have Jason's parents and my mom join us!! I don't remember many years (if any) that Jason's parents were here in October, so it was fun to have them tag along for our fall fun. We just missed daddy who opted out this year since we were going mid day on a Friday.

We did all of the activities...trampolines, cow train, hay slide, hay pyramid, pedal cars, wagon ride and of course picking out our pumpkins. And then after we dropped off our pumpkins at the car the girls still wanted to go out and play some more, so we did a repeat of a lot of things, added in some horsey swings and we even got to see the pig show! As always the kids had so much fun!! The farms here in WA never seem to disappoint and we always look forward to this time of the year for exactly this reason.
