Summer Bucket List Part #2

The second half of our summer was equally as full of fun as the first half! In fact it might have even felt busier because we seemed to have had a lot of activities to accomplish towards the end of summer and barely enough time to do them. So by the end of summer it felt like an entire week was full of fun from our bucket list.

A continuation of our Summer Bucket List fun (the last 13 items):

#16: August 4th we went on a family bike ride while at our timeshare in Lake Chelan. Even though it wasn't exactly what I had envisioned for this activity (not quite as long and adventurous), we still all got out there and had a fun little ride.

#17 and #18: August 14th we played in the sprinklers and the best part was that we got to do it with one of Cammy's school friends. We also ended the day by making ice cream with daddy!

#19: August 15th we took the family to go play mini golf at the Snohomish golf course

#20 and #21: August 17th we went to Remlinger Farms for a day of horse riding, farm fun and going on rides. We then ended the day with a movie and living room campout (we couldn't make it to the dollar movies at Regal, so this was our substitute activity).

#22: August 19th-21st the girls went on a 2-nighter RV camping trip with G-ma and Grandpa and NO PARENTS!

#23: August 29th we did the Ride the Ducks tour for Cammy's 7th birthday

#24: August 30th was the Evergreen State Fair for Kids Day

#25: August 31st we did a final zoo trip of the summer with some old friends and we got to finally feed the rhinos

#26: Sept. 1st Jason and I took just Cammy to an Aquasox game. We chose the later game time so we could also see fireworks, but come to find out it was a double header and the fireworks weren't going to happen until after the second game around 11pm. So we saw one game, but couldn't stay for the fireworks.

#27: Sept. 8th (there just wasn't enough time before school started to finish our list, so since it technically was still summer when school started we finished our list that first weekend of school) all 5 of us plus my mom went hiking. We went to Wallace Falls and we made it to the middle falls before having to turn back. This was Hailey's first big hike and she did it!

#28: We had all good intentions of finding a time to go tent camping (since we practiced in the backyard), but there just wasn't enough time (and I admit I planned way too many things for one summer). So sadly I had to be ok with not completing our list this summer. We will make sure this tops the list for next summer though!!
