Father's Day 2019

Father's Day kicked off with presents from the girls after letting Jason sleep in a little. After presents I took off for a short bit to go visit my dad and deliver to him a Jamba Juice smoothie and a special card with a musical medal (which he still wears and plays to this day).

Jason opted out of going to the Brewfest like we have the past few years and instead agreed to go to Emerald Downs for the horse races. His parents had never been before, so we took them along to celebrate Father's Day (and a late Mother's Day since they weren't in town then). Apparently everyone else had the same idea because I don't know if we have ever seen it so crowded!!! It was still a great day at the races, but really we have never not had fun. And Jason's dad even walked away with a good chunk of money from a big win he had on one of the races. I would call that a great Father's Day present!!!
