Exotic Animal Races

One of my favorite family activities is going to the horse races at Emerald Downs. I'm always watching for when they have special events in addition to the horse races because that makes it just a little more fun for the kids. And usually we wait until summer break to hit the track, but we just had to check out this special event!

On May 19th we went to the races on their special Exotic Animal Race day. It was so fun to watch!! We watched ostrich, camel and zebra race a little piece of the track and boy did we get some good laughs!
