On August 29th we celebrated Cammy turning 8 years old! We kicked off her special day with breakfast at the Sawmill Cafe, per her request. Afterwards we came home and opened some presents. We found that buying things for an 8 year old is a little more challenging. But we knocked it out of the park this year by getting her a hoverboard (although now that is all that the girls fight over and our accident prone 3 year old has even learned to use it better than us!).
She's 8!

In the afternoon Cammy had her birthday party with 6 of her close friends at the AR Workshop. She chose to have everyone make a canvas tote bag for her party (mostly because she had done everything else at her summer camp). She had a fun watermelon themed party and one of Jason's work friends offered to make her adorable watermelon cake for us!

After her party we came back to the house for a few more presents from the grandparents, then it was off to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory, also per Cammy's request.

We are so proud of the girl that Cammy has grown up to be. She is caring, smart, creative, loving, a great friend, silly, helpful and just a great role model for her little sisters and her friends. We couldn't have asked for a better first born to help us navigate our way through parenting!
The newest 8 year old!
Happy 8th Birthday Cambrynn!!!
