Mother's Day 2019

This was the best Mother's Day I have had in a long time! It started on Friday, May 10th with activities at the girls' schools and lasted through the weekend.

On May 10th I got to kick of Mother's Day weekend with "Morning with Mom" at Cammy's school. We got to have cinnamon rolls and juice and then since it was Friday (the usual day for Cougar Movers running club) we went out and did a few laps of running/walking (in our nice clothes of course).

Running time!

After spending the morning with Cammy I then got to head over to Hailey's preschool and have a little Mother's Day celebration in her classroom. We got to have a little snack together, listen to a story about moms and then play outside for recess.

In the evening I got to do a mini session with the girls by our favorite photographer at Kayak Point. I love pictures so much, so this is what I wanted for a Mother's Day gift. The girls all cooperated perfectly and I was thrilled with the outcome!

Aren't these pictures amazing? Kristin Harris never seems to disappoint!!!

And to think this was only the start of my Mother's Day weekend!!! On Mother's Day, May 12th, I started off my day getting showered with lots of sweet gifts and crafts. We then set off on a little adventure that I have been wanting to do. We ate lunch with my mom in Edmonds right by the ferry. Then we walked onto the Edmonds Kingston ferry to go have ice cream at Mora (a popular ice cream place). We had the best time and it was really close to a perfect day!
